Head
Head
Your costume head consists of a hand-carved poly foam base lined and finished with 100% synthetic fabrics. The eye mesh is waterproof PVC.
The head does not feature a zipper and can be put on simply by pulling it over your head. Vision is through the eyes, and floor/downward vision is sometimes possible through the mouth. The mouth is also open for ventilation and hydration purposes.
You may wish to wear a lycra balaclava underneath your head to protect it from sweat and skin oils, but this is not a requirement with proper care.
GENERAL CARE
Brush your head before and after wear. You can use a slicker brush available in most pet stores and superstores. Remember to brush both long furred areas like the neck and hair and shaved areas like the forehead and muzzle, as these can become matted and unsightly if not brushed regularly.
Spritz high-moisture areas (especially the interior of the neck and forehead) with disinfectant spray (rubbing alcohol and water mixture) after use. We do not recommend using store-bought cleaning sprays for this purpose as they may contain additional coloring or chemicals that may damage your costume. You can mix your own spray with 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol. Add a few drops of fragrance oil of your choice to mask the alcohol scent. We do not recommend spraying the outside of the fur, as the alcohol may discolor some fabrics.
Allow to dry after use. Leave your head upside down with the neck covering open until dry.
When not in use, store in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight.
CLEANING
Your head is completely waterproof and your eyes are heat pressed.
We advise hand washing your head (not machine washing) to avoid damage to any details or seams. Gently scrub the fur with a wet towel or sponge and a small amount of laundry detergent. Should a stubborn dirt stain occur, do not bleach! Use a more gentle cleaner like OxiClean or Resolve for carpets/rugs and follow cleaning product instructions.
We have had best results with Resolve® Spot & Stain Remover.
If you do decide to machine wash your head, use a cold and gentle cycle. Do not use a machine with an agitator as parts can become caught and damaged by this feature.
Air dry in a well-ventilated area and brush the fur periodically as your head dries. Allow several days for your head to dry completely as the foam base will absorb water. You can speed up the process by pointing a fan at your drying head.
Do not tumble dry or leave your head in extreme temperatures!
Exposure to high temperatures will damage faux fur.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES (OPTIONAL)
If requested, your head may include velcro eyelids for a variety of expressions. Simply press the velcro pads on the back of each eyelid onto the velcro eyeliner to attach. Be gentle when detaching to avoid damaging the eyeliner.
If requested, your head may include a second, long tongue to “lick” the side of your muzzle. Simply remove your standard tongue, stick your longer tongue to the velcro inside your muzzle, and bring the end of the tongue to the side of your muzzle until the magnets in the muzzle and tongue connect.
If requested, your head may include magnetic eyebrows for an even wider variety of expressions. Simply adjust the positioning of the eyebrows according to the diagrams below.
Handpaws
Handpaws
Your handpaws are made from 100% synthetic fabrics. Your right handpaw includes a maker tag for easy identification.
If your handpaws have four fingers, you can choose which finger to insert two of your own, but we recommend putting your ring and middle fingers into one finger of your handpaws.
If your handpaws have three fingers, insert your thumb into the thumb, your forefinger and middle finger into the middle finger, and your pinky and ring finger into the third finger.
If requested, your handpaws may be lined or come with removable neoprene stuffing pillows.
GENERAL CARE

You can store dry, clean handpaws inside your costume head in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight to conserve space and keep everything together.
CLEANING
Your hands are both hand- and machine-washable. Use normal laundry detergent to wash your costume parts.
Should a stubborn dirt stain occur on any part of your costume, do not bleach. Use a more gentle cleaner like OxiClean or Resolve for carpets/rugs and follow cleaning product instructions.
When machine washing, use a cold and gentle cycle.
Stuffing (if included) does not need to be removed unless your costume includes “pillow”-style finger padding, in which case pillows can be removed before washing and replaced when dry.
Do not tumble dry or leave your handpaws in extreme temperatures!

Tail
Tail
Your tail is made from synthetic fabrics.
There are two belt loops for partial wear or for extra support under a bodysuit, depending on the style of your costume.
If your tail is very large, we may include a zipper to allow for removal of stuffing for storage or transit. Look for this zipper in the seams along the bottom or sides of your tail.

Most tails do not need frequent washing, but if your tail happens to become stained or dirty you can spot clean your tail. Use a gentle cleaner like OxiClean or Resolve (or equivalent) for carpets/rugs and follow cleaning product instructions. Do not bleach!
Do not tumble dry or leave your costume in extreme temperatures! Heat may damage costume parts.
Air dry your costume parts in a well-ventilated area and brush periodically as your costume dries.
Feetpaws
Feetpaws
Your feetpaws are constructed with 100% synthetic materials. They are lined with techno neoprene and contain an EVA foam base.
Plantigrade or partial feetpaws are marked with a maker tag on the right foot. Digitigrade feetpaws are not intended for use as partial feetpaws, as they are specifically built to flow seamlessly into the shape of a padded leg.
Feetpaws with indoor pawpad soles will get dirty with use and may be damaged if used on hot or rough surfaces. Take care of your toe beans and use fursuit sandals when walking outside or in convention halls if possible!
Most of our feetpaws include an internal shoe for support. We usually use Crocs for their light weight and quick dry features.

You can mix your own spray with 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol. Add a few drops of fragrance oil of your choice to mask the alcohol scent. We do not recommend spraying the outside of the fur, as the alcohol may discolor some fabrics.

We usually recommend hand-washing or spot cleaning feet, but they can also be machine washed in machines without an agitator. Feet are large and unwieldy and in our experience do not play nicely with agitators, so if your machine has one, we highly recommend washing them by hand instead!
Feet paws (especially indoor paws with paw pads) may show permanent discoloration over time, especially if worn extensively at conventions or other events. If you need them to remain pristine, we highly recommend wearing fursuit sandals or some other kind of covering to protect them from stains.
Do not tumble dry or leave your costume in extreme temperatures! Heat may damage costume parts. Air dry your costume parts in a well-ventilated area and brush periodically as your costume dries.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES (OPTIONAL)
If requested, your feet may include velcro bottoms for the ability to switch between indoor and sandal soles. Simply line up the desired soles with the bottom of the foot and press the velcro on your desired soles firmly onto the bottom of the foot to attach.
Gently peel up one end of a sole and pull to separate velcro when you’re ready to switch.
Attached indoor soles may have small gaps around the outer seam; try your best to line things up and brush out trapped fur to minimize gaps, but don’t worry if it’s not perfect! The gaps won’t be visible from most angles.
Bodysuit (without padding)
Bodysuit (without padding)
Your bodysuit is constructed with 100% synthetic materials.
Your bodysuit is front-entry and unlined for better ventilation, and includes a tail zipper for a seamless look unless requested otherwise.
We strongly recommend wearing a base layer under your bodysuit for ease of getting in and out of costume and to protect it from sweat and skin oils. Make sure your base layer is moisture-wicking, cooling, and has long sleeves and legs so your limbs don't get stuck to the inside of the suit when damp! We recommend looking for something made of swimsuit-like material.
Before wear, you will also need to attach your tail. Make sure to keep any fur away from the zipper while zipping the tail to the body. If fur gets caught, unzip until the fur can be untangled and try again. It is generally easiest to zip on your tail from the outside.
Your tail comes with exposed belt loops inside the bodysuit. You will want to secure the belt and tail after putting on the legs.
When you zip up the front of your bodysuit, make sure not to catch any long fur in the zipper.
When putting on handpaws and feetpaws with a bodysuit, try to tuck the hem of your paws into the sleeves of your costume. You may need help tucking your second handpaw, especially if you have padded handpaws.

Only spray the inside of your bodysuit. Do not spray the fur!
Allow to dry after use - leave your suit's zipper open to allow air to enter.
Hang up to store; use a suit/garment cover bag to protect from dust during long term storage if desired.

Bodysuit (with padding)
Your bodysuit is constructed with 100% synthetic materials.
There is an entry zipper on the front of your costume, a tail zipper, and two zippers on the lower legs for your detachable feet paws.
We strongly recommend wearing a base layer under your bodysuit for ease of getting in and out of costume and to protect it from sweat and skin oils. Make sure your base layer is moisture-wicking, cooling, and has long sleeves and legs so your limbs don't get stuck to the inside of the suit when damp! We recommend looking for something made of swimsuit-like material.
Before wear, you will need to attach your feetpaws to your costume. Zippers will line up to show you to which side each foot should attach.
If struggling to get your feet into the shoes, slip a finger into the small gap at the back of the foot/leg zipper to hook it into the shoe and help guide your foot in.
Before wear, you will also need to attach your tail. Make sure to keep any fur away from the zipper while zipping the tail to the body. If fur gets caught, unzip until the fur can be untangled and try again. It is generally easiest to zip on your tail from the outside.
If your tail is large/upright or otherwise requires extra support, it may come with exposed belt loops inside the bodysuit. You will want to fasten the belt after your legs are inside the lower half of your bodysuit.
When you zip up the front of your bodysuit, make sure not to catch any long fur in the zipper.
When putting on handpaws and feetpaws with a bodysuit, try to tuck the hem of your paws into the sleeves of your costume. You may need help tucking your second handpaw, especially if you have padded handpaws.

Your costume’s padding/stuffing is contained in three interior pockets. Padding can be added, removed, or replaced via the zippers in these pockets. Replacement stuffing can be ordered online (“polyester fiberfill”) or found at most craft stores/superstores.
When replacing stuffing, make sure to push stuffing into the entirety of the inner pocket, including the knees of the thigh/butt pocket and all the way around into the front parts of the ankle pockets.

Your bodysuit will need to be de-stuffed first. Use the zippers on the padding pockets inside the suit to remove the stuffing before washing your body normally by hand or machine.
Hang your body to air dry, then replace stuffing as before when completely dry. Remember to spread stuffing equally into the knees and the front of the ankles as well as the heels/butt to avoid a lumpy or uneven appearance.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES (OPTIONAL)
If requested, your padded costume may be plantigrade ("mascot" style) as opposed to the standard digitigrade style. "Mascot" costumes do not have ankle zippers, as the padding is contained within one (regular) or two (with tummy padding) interior pockets.
Padding can be added, removed, or replaced via the zippers in these pockets. When replacing stuffing, make sure to push stuffing into the entirety of the inner pocket, including the knees.
"Mascot" costumes come with plantigrade zip-on feet, which can be used with a partial costume if desired.
